My stay in this hotel was problematic from the second I stepped into my room. The room was freezing cold and the air conditioning would not work properly. The bed was dirty and TV didn't work at all. The floor hadn't been cleaned for a while and the dusty carpet was stained in a lot of places. The internet was through a cable that did not stretch more than a meter and was broken so it kept coming out.
The breakfast was an abomination; a very hard boiled egg, some vegetables celery and boiled grated potato , a piece of fried dough and some tough steamed mantou bread. Add to this, that because they also rent rooms out by the hour, there is loud knocking on doors throughout the day and night to tell people their hour is up. On my second last evening I had a knock on my door and answered it to find a prostitute who wanted to come in.
I would have tried to have reported these numerous shortcomings to the reception, but unfortunately they did not speak a single word of English and were generally unhelpful but pleasant.
On a positive note, the hotel is very well located and had a good hot shower. I would avoid this place and opt for somewhere like the Jinjiang Inn a reliable chain. Profile JOIN. Log in to get trip updates and message other travelers.
